FAT Shaming 101
Did Megyn Kelly actually endorse fat shaming on her show? She is raising a lot of eyebrows after making comments about the need for fat shaming. She seemed to suggest that the way she stays slim is because of fat shaming. In a interview with the self styled "fit mom" on Thursday on the Today show. Maria Kang of the 2013 Fit Mom fame had posted an image working out with her three children and asking "what is your excuse" . She created a fire storm of controversy since people felt she was fat shaming.

Fat ass
Ironically, she was on the Megyn Kelly show to say she wanted to move away from that "body shaming" message to motivating women saying it was never her intent. However, Megyn's response appeared to point to the virtues of body shaming. She suggested that people want to be shamed and it could be turned into a great business for Maria. She also said that she asked her step father to call her "fat ass" if she went into the kitchen one more time and that it works.
Megyn Kelly has since apologised for her support of fat shaming.
